Every home presents unique considerations. Prior to delivery, our team works with you to review access points, tight turns, and doorway clearances.

Delivery

On delivery day, our team will contact you prior to arrival. All pieces are assembled, inspected, placed in your home, and packaging is removed.

To help ensure a smooth and seamless delivery, here’s what to expect from a Blufish Home delivery.

Delivery Policies

Scheduling

Once your merchandise has arrived at our warehouse, our team will contact you to schedule a delivery date. Any remaining balance due will be collected at this time.

Deliveries are scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (Off-season deliveries are scheduled Monday through Friday.)

The day before your scheduled delivery, Blufish customer service will contact you to confirm your delivery address and provide a two-hour delivery window for the following day.

Verbal confirmation of your delivery window is required in order for your items to be loaded onto our delivery trucks.

Planning for Delivery

Please ensure a clear and unobstructed path for delivery, and that the designated delivery area is free of other items.

If you have any concerns regarding tight turns, narrow doorways, staircases, or other access limitations that may impede delivery, please notify your design consultant or Blufish customer service in advance. With prior notice, our team can plan accordingly to help avoid delays or setbacks on the day of delivery.

Delivery Day

The Blufish delivery team will contact you approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival. If no one is present at the delivery location, our drivers are able to wait up to 15 minutes before proceeding to their next scheduled delivery. In this event, your delivery will be rescheduled and a $100 rescheduling fee will apply.

An adult age 18 or older must be present to accept delivery of your furniture.

If an item is unable to fit through a doorway, stairwell, or other access point, as determined by our delivery team supervisor, a lift ($400 additional fee) or hoist ($150 additional fee) may be required. Delivery will be rescheduled with the appropriate equipment.

Please carefully inspect your furniture at the time of delivery. If an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please notify the delivery team immediately. Our staff will document the issue, submit a claim, and advise you of the next steps toward resolution.

Our delivery team will assemble and inspect all furniture, remove packaging materials, and communicate any delivery-related issues with our office. While we are unable to hang artwork or move or transport existing furniture, we are happy to recommend a trusted resource to assist you.
